okay thanks alot man what kind of wood should i use partical board?? and how do i tune it

The tuning is in the port.. which you allready have the dimesnions for . that setup will give you really loud bass with a sacrifice in low end performance and still be able to play music and not be a 1 note wonder box.

Box should be built out of at least 3/4" MDF

do a search up on how calculate box volume. Since the port, wood for the port and subwoofer all take up space the external measurements to that box would be much more than 3 cu.ft

alright hopefully i will be able to do it by myself... say i cant do it on my own how much you think it would cost to get this built?

Yourself 1 and a half sheets of MDF, get your local Home Depot or Lowes to make all the cuts for you and assemble it with glue and screws.. say $75 +Carpetting

To get someone to build it for you, real professional box, double baffled, braced, ports rounded. carpetted say $250 would be reasonable.

hey i was also wondering the box that they are already in has a port in between the 2 subs is there anyway i can calculate the HZ? to see what its tuned to right now i geuss i can get a pic of the box if that helps?

Measure the outside of the box and the size and depth of the port.

Is it a clarion box?

okay so i measure the box it is:
L 30 1/4
H 14
W 13 1/4
i also texted the guy and he said he set it at a freq. of 70

so my question is the mesurements that you told me that would be awesome for those subs is it worth it to build it or would this box be simliar sound??
