You have to measure the port... and tuning freq of 70 really isn;t possible. For car audio most commonly tuning falls between 35-and 42hz for pre-fab boxes.

How deep is it?

 

Looking at the back of that port as well with the divider between it I really don't think I can accurately get a guess to it's tuning. It's not a well made box.

 

haha yeah i know i dont like it very much and its 13 1/4 deep would that little divider make a difference because i can just take it out theres only one screw holding it on lol

 

With the subs in there, your running with 1.9cu.ft tuned to 42hz.
With those subs the response is tuned for a big Spike around 38-46hz but doesn't have enough port area. Must sound like crap.

 

haha you got that rightt.... so with the dimensions that you have given me should make it sound a hell of alot better?

 

the tuning is pretty simlar to the box you have now. Just a cu.ft bigger for more efficient output.

If you want something tighter and more musical go with 2.2cu.ft with a 3" x 12" X 32" long port, that will be 32Hz tuning.

okay so the port should go inbetween the subs is that the best place or??..... and overall how big would the box be so i could get 2.2 cu ft. including the port and box
