Mr.DatSubishi

Has anyone used this combination before? (alpine M300 nav. with M740bt touchscreen) My local Alpine rep says the M300 should be backward compatible with the screen. It's not listed as compatible on their site, but he says if it isn't 100% compatible they won't list it. I've seen on another site that one guy tried it and had some issues but he didn't go into any detail. I may join this other Subaru website just to ask some questions, but thought I'd ask this community first.

Anyone use any other nav with this screen.(blackbird or NVE-P1) The one alpine lists as compatible is their $1700 DVD based nav and I don't want nav THAT much.
