Well, for somewhat less than the Zapco/Audison lineups, you will find the high end lines from MTX, JL, RF, Orion or Phoenix Gold would provide all the clean power you need.

If you really want to spend more you can....Macintosh makes some amazing equipment, but the financial implications are not for the faint of heart.....

Bottom line is since the audible differences at this level of product are not worth getting into.....again.... , it may come down to looks....if you see install possibilities with one in particular, go for it.....

My $.02 worth

The Nakamichi amps are a nice choice as well. Very clean not over the top on price.

Good stuff guys keep it coming

When you said the high end lines, do you think the RF punch line of amps is any good? They look pretty bling bling but I have a line on some pretty good deals on RF

Rockford's current fare are fine amplifiers - if you have a lead on good pricing, all the better.

The DLS A3's are fine amplifier's also. If it were me with a pair of QSD's though I would run more power than a A3 but I'm a fan of some headroom. The A6 has shown some reliability and quality issues especially when run at 1ohm for more than a handful of users. Shopping around can get you a good deal on DLS amps but IMO I'd rather have a RF Power series than a DLS.

If you're currently running PPI AM series I guess you don't need any processing in your amps so your main concern is just getting enough power and available headroom in a reliable well made amp. There's literally tons available for you out there.

Check out some JBL amps too, they've got some nice gear out now.

Thanks guys I will look into this RF connection I have.
So are the Power seiries better than the Punch series or is it just the difference of A/B and D class?

The Power Series are RF's high end line.....worth the extra bucks over the Punch Series IMHO. I also like the look of the Power amp line myself......a bit of chrome, a bit of flat black, and big heatsinks do it for me.....

RF makes a variety of A/B and D class amps in both series....

BTW, I forgot to include Kicker in my original list, but the pricing here in probably won't compare to what your RF guy can do for you.....
