amp problems

amp problems

My friend has two amps in his car the one amp works perfect but the other one won't turn on but if I hook up the amp that doesn't in my car it works fine I've tried to test in both cars with the same power wires. Just the one amp won't turn on in the one car. What might the problem be

Both attached to same power run and remote wire?

Trying hooking up the bad one alone in his car and then try. Are they strapped together? If they are, maybe they aren't meant to be hooked up like that.

We did try the amp alone like I can't think of why it won't work it just won't work in the one car but works in my car

Did you check the ground?

All that's fine cuz other amps work in the car but the other amps are smaller if that does any difference
