There are a few shops around Vancouver that do repairs, I am going to get an estimate done. Nice old amp, in good cosmetic shape too...

I have owned two Punch 40's, a 60, 200ix, 160x4, 250a2, none of them over had a problem. Pretty reliable, in my own experiences....

i would say your input connectors have either got cold solder joints onto the main board
or the connectors themselves are going bad
