Which amp should I get?

Which amp should I get?

Hi guys I was looking at the different types and brands of amps but could not decide which one is the best bang for the buck, could you guys help me my price range is 200 to 250 was looking into getting a hifonics brz 1700.1d or jbl gto 7001 something in that range can anyone tell me which of these amps are better or which one I should get thanks.

Without knowing what you're going to power with said amp, have you considered other brands, such as Audioque? They sell directly to the customer, ship cheap and fast and have (IN MY OPINION) better build quality than either of the amps you suggested, for the same price.
Plus, their amps are 1 ohm stable which is a great way to wring more power if you want/need it.
I know I sound biased because I have one, but I'm SO impressed with the build quality, and little things like the remote bass **** with clipping indicator are priceless.

^ A clipping indicator is a great idea. Does it indicate if the input is clipped, or the output?

sorry for the threadjack, but thats a great question; I just emailed Audioque to ask.
EDIT_ HOLY *****; 2 minutes and they respond! It indicates clipping on the input signal; SCHWEET.
