Which EQ should I get??

Hi,
I've got a pioneer 6400 deck, rockford 350s(90wx2) driving orion 5.2's (5 1/4 components) in the front and an old phoenix saphire (75x2) driving polk 6.5" coaxes in the rear of my prelude. I wan't to get a good quality eq, just wondering what you guys think is good. I've been looking at the kicker KQ9, I think that's a pretty nice unit, i've also been looking at an EQX, probably higher quality but loose the convenience of dash mount. I'm a little more fond of graphic than parametric. Is there anything else I should look at?

I have always liked audio control for EQs and crossovers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but most of them have built in 13v peak line drivers as well. If you are looking for sound quality, I would go for an audio control unit, but the in dash jobbers are fun to play with. I used to have an Alpine ere-g180 11 band which was pretty nice.
I'm in the process of building my system right now, and am probably going to get a pair of 30 band eqts

I got a smokin deal on the Kicker KQ9, sounds good except i've got a lot of background hiss that I can't get rid of, checked all the grounds and tried eliminating potential ground loops but it's still there. I talked to Kicker and they said to install it in another vehicle or something and if the problem is still there to send it in for service. Thanks for your input guys, i was really leaning towards an audio control but I got too good of a deal to pass up.

I don't think that's the problem, because i'm getting the hiss in my front and rear speakers and the rear speaker amp gain is way way down. The noise is being created by the eq because when I push the eq bypass button the hiss is 100% gone. I'm gonna pull the eq and hook it up on the bench and see if it still does it. Thanks for the thought.
