Well if you do a search on big three you will find it. But basically its beefing up your Postive wire from your alt to the + side of your battery. A negative from your - side of your battery to the chassie. And a negative wire from your alt. bracket to the chassie. Its fine to have 2 gauge power but if your Ground wire from your battery to the chassie is 8-10 gauge then really 2 gauge power is point less.
could it be from turning it up too loud?
what Volt pre-amp output is your deck?
at an audio competition here about a week ago, my dad kept popping the breaker in his amp when he turned it up, he tweaked his system a bit, turned up some gains and stuff and now theres no more popping, but great volume.
i know that if your deck has too high volt of a pre-out, it can cause the breaker to pop fairly easily if you crank it.
hope this helps.
