Unhappy Amp Tuning for a beginner!

Hey i know uve answered this question 100 times and i have read the other posts on how to tune an amp but im still a bit confused:S...im running a 12w7 in a spec ported box powered by my Phoenix Gold Ryval V8001 monoblock amp and a pioneer avic n3 deck.... how would i go about tuning the amp? it contains a frequency setting, a sensitivity, and bass boost. Also if the sub output on my deck goes to +6, where should i set it at? i currently have it set to +2 just to be safe until i figure out how to tune my amp properly... if it helps i do have a multimeter but am unsure how to use it to tune an amp, any help would b eappreciated thanks alot

O.K. ...

Assuming your deck goes from like -25 to +6 or something set it to 0.

Bass Boost - I don't use it
Frequency setting- LP around 80hz
Sensitivity - Set to match deck line level or use DMM to set correct volts
