S&S do you have these transistors in stock? ohh its hard to tell whether ot not the 2nd line on the transistor says FQP or FOP, i think its a Q though

how much have you spent on the blown amp when you first got it? add $100 repair to it and you get the cost of ownership. I think spending $300 on a brand new one is just a smarter move in the long run. Who knows how soon this amp will blow up again, then its a $100 waste for you. Just a suggestion.

Agreed

I think you should spend the $300 and get a new one, I understand you have experience with repairing amplifiers however in the long run I think it would be in your best interest to spend the extra cash, save yourself in the long-run.

i payed $40 for teh blown amp, mosfets are gonna run me $75ish, plus resistors and a friend pointed out 1 of the big black caps in hte middle of the amp are balloned , and shipping from S&S

might jsut grab a RF BD1000D for $175, only downside is its only 2 ohm stable and i have a 1 ohm sub setup

sometimes its not worth fixing blown up stuff because something can go wrong next time with different parts
