don't forget to change the fuse to deliver more current.... infact Id just jam some wire in the fuse holder and skip the fuse all together...

I have the same amp. 6 of them.
It's a stereo amp, 2x125 wrms @ 4 ohm or 2x190wrms @ 2ohm.
OR you can bridge it to 1 output 1x380wrms but ONLY at 4 ohm.
It has a LPF for subs, and bass boost if you want it. You didn't say what impedence your subs are, or how they're hooked up.
If its running 2x190 @ 2ohm or bridged 4 ohm, it will draw a full 25 amps.

I have 0 ga from the battery to distribution block and 6 ga to each amp on 40 amp fuses.

Do it right or don't bother.

OK, stop right now before you melt your car into a smouldering ruin (which you are well on the way to doing). Take the car into and see either Dave or Kevin and tell him you need a overhaul as your install is a fire hazard.

No this is actually a tried and true method , remind me one day and I'll tell you the story of an oil gauge line that got burnt in half by a 16 guage power wire that was using a penny insted of a fuse back when I was 17 . the whole car caught on fire , And i'm not pullin legs .

K i now realize how retarded I am, my buddy at work had a hell of a laugh too. then he told me how to wire it from the battery to amp, so i did (correctly i might add) but i only used 10 guage wire. so now i can turn it up pretty loud but if I go to far it does the same thing again, is this the result of using 10ga?

Did you make sure to use same size ground wire from body to amplifier and keep it under 4 feet?
