this would be worth buying from your sister for the right price. It specs look similar to the infocus x1 which I have seen and it will do amazing picture quality on a 75"x75" screen or so.
think about the uses of the projector versus big screen tv. You can grab it - take it to your buds to watch a football game/whatever. It sets up in minutes.
