Do you know someone that doesn't know when to end or minimize there hobby?

I myself was into the car audio stuff big time when I was younger/had cash, but I got married I've got a kid on the way all is great and hobby is the least important right now. How many of you out there know someone who's taking there hobby to an obsession and chooses there hobby as life and never moves on? They opt to think there doing the righ thing with the "I am me bull**** attitude if you don't like it deal with it", but refuses to listen to others ordoesn't have much of future head of him except have this business plan and "when it makes me millions I will laugh at all your Fvckers"
Main point is do yo know someone out there who is doing things all backwards or refuses to move on in life or think everyone around should adapt to there "hobby and way of life"? and if you don't like it screw you attitude?

I have a friend that has poured a ton of money into his car. He went to college for about a year. But, he has put so much money into that thing. It's a 1990 Mustang. Granted it's got a killer orange paint job with a brand new 5.7 litre engine. It's got an air bag suspension kit. He's done so much upgrading to it and it's awesome. But, that cars blue book value is probably like 2,000 dollars. He bought it for around 9,000. And has put at least 10,000 into it.
Granted he is only 20. And still plans to go back to school and has a decent paying job and good position. But, he needs to chill with it. I have told him several times. He has recently started to wisen up and realize it's a never ending money pit. So we'll see what happens in the next few months to a year!

My life is a hobby I spend to much time on.
I spend too much money on everything (car, room, life...etc).
I drink too much.
I gamble too much.
I spend too much time playing videogames (I beat San Andreas already, yes...I know.)
I don't spend enough time on my homework.
Hmmm methinks I need to give up my hobby before I have nothing left!
