anyone using satellite radio in Canada?
#1
I know Sirius and someone have made a deal here in Canada - haven't heard if it's available yet. Does anyone have any easy ways to get XM or Sirius subscriptions. Does either have good coverage in Canada?
thanks

I local car audio dealer might have one of each for you to see. I highly recommend XM iver sirius. It cost $3.50 less a month and they give you a good deal for activating a second receiver for your house or something. Both are Commercial free. XM also has Playboy radio for $3 a month, if you want. XM has 5 times as many subscribers as well, I have heard it might sound better too. If you have a Alpine, Pioneer or Sony Deck you can get a tuner to run XM right on the HU. I think in a year or something both will be lisenced to market service to Canadians. Right now, although the service reaches canada, it is a grey area.

I have had a pioneer XM tuner in my Durango for almost a year now. Works great. I know when I activated mine I had to have a US billing address.
Soon as they see your credit card # they know you are from Canada.
I have heard of dead spots in Canada with the Sirius.
