Heheheh, I think I better be careful indeed. I took it out on the highway and man, it's quieter at speed. I'm impressed, I was worried I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Also, something I wasn't expecting, my bass is cleaner and more defined. I've got a 12in MMats with 150 watts, and on some tracks it would sound somewhat boomy, but the same tracks show some clear improvements. I could spend alotta time tearing my car apart...

 

Hmmm,, using acetone for your health!

Get yourself some scotch brite pads, the green ones will do.

Get some automotive cleaner/degreaser for primer/paint application.

Clean all your areas to be deadened with a damp rag and wipe clean.

then use cleaner with the scotch brite, it'll clean up the paint and metal real good and give you a sligthly scuffed surface and the deadner will stick like crazy.

Best to apply in a heated garage, as well as heating up the panel to be deadened... also heating up slightly the sticky side of the deadner.

Using a roller really helps adhere the deadner to the panel. Careful not to tear the foil,, if you do just cut a small peice and re-apply in that area.

Take your time, cut peices to fit properly, press and roll firm, you may need some leather gloves cause of the heat!
