LOL oh no, are we talking about Audiobahn again?

Amp looks GAY....simple as that....although the scoop could be useful for cooling or venting the white smoke.

I don't like Audiobahn's amps, except the old HCX series or whatever they were called...they were pretty sweet and put out some mean power.

I have a lot of respect for thier subs though. I still have a pair of thier 12's and since nobody wants to buy them for $200 I guess I'll be keeping them which is fine by me because they are not a bad sub at all....I've seen so many pictures of people at DBDrags with walls of them, so they must be pretty decent, not to mention that 12 that they built that took 10KW for a few seconds, which by my standards is pretty respectable...I don't know of any subs off hand that have done that except maybe one of those 60" Richard Clark dealies that use a coffe truck as a sub-box.

I've never heard Bahn comp sets or their new Alpine knockoff HU's but thier 6x9's hammer.

Anyway, don't hate Audiobahn because they have chrome or they're too "mainstream" for all you TRU and Brax fans. They make pretty respectable product for a decent price...isn't that what's really important?

Personally I like the product. Yes I sell it in my shop and didnt really know much about it before I did sell it. But playing with it I think it is a good product and the price point is excellent. Yes asthetics are interesting but look at everyother product they have some crazy style to them to catch you attention. Just cause they are different don't knock the product till you use it. Audiobahn's SQ history says alot for what kind of product it is.

Interesting point… If it sounded so good, you would think that a company that has been around for about 13 year or so would have some SQ titles under their belt…

What they do have is a kick-a$$ SPL team however… they have competitors like Jim Jean, James Jean (son), David Goss, and Raymond (don’t know his last name). Just between Jim & James Audiobahn has a showroom FULL of trophies… and not just 14” one either… The funny thing is that the Factory team only uses the A5000SPL amp and another companies subs... hmmmm…

Do they make good amps?… Not really…
Does their products get loud?… Yes they do…
Does it sound good?… Not really…

Audiobahn’s product is perfect for show cars. They have tons of chrome and can look sick with a tight install… and that’s about it…

THEY PUT A FREAKING HOOD SCOOP ON AN AMP!! This, the same company that tried to make their amps look like PG, their processors like AC, puts rack handles, gold plated no less, on amps that are obviously going to be hard mounted, fan grilles with no fans, VU meters hooked to nothing, etc, etc, etc.

The stuff may work alright but the cheese factor is just way off the scale. This is past 'unique styling'..
Agreed. Their marketing ability is nuttier than Sony...o.k., maybe not. Bling, bling chrome and copy-cat ideas do not a good amp make. As far as performance goes? Well, I suppose they are alright but nothing like what I am used to.

Besides, MA audio looks soooo much cooler ! LOL...j/k

Its all nice to have a flashy look, but Audiobahn, like several other companies out there get they stuff made by a single manufacturer, and simply cover it up with a dif heat sink. What ever brand ur faithful to is your own business, and if you ask questions about it you'll get negative response to it you should expect it, jus go out and get it, put it in and be proud, enjoy car audio for what it is, not what so many are quick to point out because they have a certain brand!!!
