Maybe you should keep that between you and the box you're making a mess of.

Yeah.. I'd avoid using anything remotely goeey.. just buy a rubber gasket if you're that concerned about sealing the woofer to the box.

One-way tape will perform the same task just as well.

I went with an Alpine mrv-m340. I am going to run it in bridged mode x2 for 130 rms x2 for my Type R components. I picked it up locally for 100$ brand new in the box. I pretty much stole it from the poor girl. Can't wait to get it running.

Well I got the mrv-m340 hooked up. I opted to go 4 channel to run the R's in the front and the S's in the back. I tried just running the R's in the front in dual bridged but it just didn't sound right. I think cause it's running @ 2 ohm and its more just for powering subs. It sounded powerfull but too harsh. In 4 channel mode it screams like it should. It is more smooth and sounds under control. My ears are still bleeding!

Ear bleed in a good way right? Glad it turned out well with all the Alpine stuff (kinda knew it would) I was Lookin into a CDT 2x130 to run my components for now and fr. stage subs later, but I may have run into a deal on the $1700 alpine nav I need for a really good deal.

Absolutely in a good way! Not only is it louder but cleaner and more musical and full. I can hear every note and insturment now and it cuts right through the bass from my 2 10" Orion HCCA's.
