I run a single bassworx 1200.1. I paid 799 plus taxes for it a year ago. Last year I ran it in 4 ohms, driving a 12" L7, in a 1990 civic sedan, and hit between 141 and 142 dbs consistantly.

this year I am using it to push 2 12" type r's in a wall in my 1994 blazer, and have been hitting 141.8-143.5, without much tweeking. It is in a 2 ohm load right now(2.23 Ohms to be exact).

apparantly I was told when purchasing that it is a re-badged JBL 1200.1, internals are supposed to be identical. this amp is also rated for 1 ohm usage by manufacturers specs. it is a decent amp, but I think the money spent would have been better off buying an earthquake, us amps, or similar product.

I found that tuning this amp can be tricky, and if it is sensing too much current, etc, it will go into protection mode, Thus not making it easy to maximize your power out of it. I hope this will help you a bit.

The bassworkx product is Re-badged Tsunomi product. They are identical in every way except for the name. It's good stuff though, and considering the pricing, you cant go wrong on a budget.

I saw the truck with the big 3000 watt amp from Bassworx. It's actully doing 148 and change, with one hell of a crapy box. It looked like it was put togther with 2x4 studds!

And I was talking to the Bassworx rep yesturday, and he told me that they will have an SPL sub out in the next few days. I'm guessing the price will be pretty good, so it should be worth taking a look at.

I have sold a few of there products and seem to work well. And I was just told a couple of days ago they have nothing to do with Tsunami or Lightning. So not too sure.
