that sub is for sure the 12.3 As far as I know, I have the first installed and miced set goin right now, well here anyway. I installed a pair of Bassworx 12.4's and the BA-3000.1 about 5 days ago, just did my first event with them in PG on saturday, and came in first with a 147.3DB. I gotta do some work on my box still, but I was happy with that for first mic. I runnin them maybe 2000 watts in one ohm right now. Gonna hammer them next weekend at another show, should do good

talked to a rep at the PG show, he claims bassworx amps are 1 of a kind, engineered in their labs overseas, and manufactured with their own componants.

----Who really knows? All I can say is that they are a decent company. Their products are ranked IMO, mid-grade overall on the equipment scale..

the sub in the pic was bought from urban audio video, on their closing out sale. i was'nt told anything really about it other than its one of twenty that were shipped to authorized dealers of bassworx. its some special sub in a special box, came with a plaque, and a plaque on the box. but it doesnt say on it what sub it is.reason i bought it was the price, they were selling it @ 449 bucks. they wanted 150 for it. so said why not. the reciept say its a CS GPX12L EXTREME POWER HANDLING SPL BOX "LOADED". other than that im clueless. but one of the sales reps didn't really want me to have it, he wanted it.

Hey will how did ya like the pg show, ya I was talkin to jeff the eriksons rep about the bassworx line and stuff too. I wasn't sure about it because I never sen it rip before, but the numbers I got from that show where a personal high for me, so I am happy as hell with the product. Now gotta work on the box a bit. Hey bodar, if ya want I can have a chat with Gary Toombs from ericksons and see if he can gimme some specs on your gear bro. He would know he the rep from kelowna. I know Lance the ericksons rep from alberta was running 4-12.3 off 2- 3000.1 strapped, and it sounded sick.

i just dont know if i should sell it or keep it im running 2 12" exile xp's right now with the full soundstream front, mid, tweet crossover setup. im fairly happy with it. so far...... those exile's are pretty dam good, the xp's anyway. i keep getting flamed for saying that anywhere i post it. if you could find out for sure what it is then awsome. i guess i could also not be so lazy and just pull it out of the box. i think its 500 rms. i dont know for sure tho. and i cant find out what the box is tuned to. i know my double 12" prefab frum bassworx is tuned to 38 hz. i wish i wasent such a dumass with wood, or id make my own.

Are they the same amps, just rebadged?
Im fairly sure Avionixx also makes the amps for elemental designs, and they get rave reviews, so it makes a guy wonder.

has anyone played with the bassworx stuff, or read any decent reviews on them?
Yeah Bassworx products are not bad, they are great actually, The only things I dont like from them are their enclosures.. I have 3 Ba3000.1 Mono amps and the Bassworx subs the 12.4.. Im gonna try out their component speakers and ill let ya know how that goes..
