I will most likely just get another JL 1000/1. The thing is i made up my mind today to just remove the rear seat in my truck and run 2 15" subs or maybe something like 3-4 12's. either way they will still be dd 3500's. Thanks for all the input.
If i want to run 2 JL's what would need to be done to my electrical sustem?
Keep in mind this is a dodge ram with a cummins in it so it has a big altenator and 2 batteries already.
Thanks guys.

Again, if the goal is to get loud, a "governed" amplifier like the JL / series is not the way to go, especially when those subs can take huge amounts of power. Any way you slice it, the JL amps will produce 1000w rms of power, that is it, that is all. A more than comparable amp may produce 50% more power and that is going to be far more beneficial if the road to loud is the goal. You have the electrical system to deliver, why limit the outcome?

How loud can i go with 2 15" dd3500's? I would like to tune the box somewhere between deep and loud. I have made up my mind i want 2 15's and i will sell my jl 1000/1. What amp can i find used for a good price that will be a good match to these subs without having to do too much to me electical sytem?
