I would second and third the 4000D from crossfire. Built like a rock, underrated, and not to hard on the electrical (at least for a amp that big). If you want 2k, go with the 2000D. Cannot go wrong with crossfire...

Even the amp I suggested comes with a 300 amp fuse......!!
As for value for the money........comparing Hertz amps to a Crossfire (nothing wrong with them.....but just not in this league).......is like comparing an F1 car to a stock civic......
theres power....and then theres.....POWER.
2300 Watts RMS is a shi* load of power for ANY 2 subwoofers.....regardless of brand or power handling.
Again.....can the guys electrical system keep up.....thats the big question.

And he's running DD3500s, not SQ subs (which seems to be all I could find on the Hertz website), and the CF 4k puts out very clean power. When it comes to SPL, 4000wrms kicks the crap out of 2300wrms, regardless if it comes from a "civic" amp and not an F1 amp. If it was regulated like a Zapco amp, then I could see some SPL value (for street competitors). If not, there are alot stronger amps out there for the same money.
I wouldn't call 2300wrms a **** load of power for just any 2 subs. It depends on the sub and the install. My DD9515s would laugh at 1150wrms each. They'd still be laughing at 2300wrms each daily. It all depends on what you're running, and how loud you want it to be.
