1. Anything that absorbs vibrations
2. I don't know why you would want it, but it makes my doors sound more luxurious when I slam them closed

It absorbs vibrations from the metal panel it is stuck on and transfers some of it to heat... effectively lowering the resonant frequency of the panel.

The first question depends and where you are buying it from or what kind.

They are in Milton now, moved into a residence and conducting business out of that.

Fatmat/DeadMat/SuperMat(something to that effect, a best product), Prices I was quoted were as follows for 25 sq.ft $60/$65/$85 respectively. So don't know where you got that price but definitely a winner there on buying 100 ft for under$200.

Anyone else?

Secondskin Spectrum is a great product. Bought it from a place just outside of niagra, and used the spray gun you can buy to apply it to a 2010 Camaro trunk. With 2 gallons, we did 4 layers everywhere which was just about 100mil thickness. it is absolutely great stuff. no trunk flex what so ever.

1 layer and its all good! solid like no other!. This stuff does what a few layers of dynamat or bquite will do.

agreed. RHS is going into the g/fs car and whatever projects I do next. As long as you dont mind the weight.

+1 on the fatmat, payed 200 for 100sqft, need to do more layers in the trunk(only have 1) but it did help alot with the rattles, regardless i wasn't hoping to stop it completely cause my w7 rattles everything xD lol
