You should build up the hinge on your lid so that it blends into the floor more if you get what I'm saying. Looks like you need the hinges a quarter inch higher. And I would go with a hidden handle kinda thing, your install is looking decent and you should stick with the whole clean stealth look.

The trim that goes in front of the sub box horizontally is up just a hair too much. Everything sits flush with each other. It's just the way i took the pictures. I am ditching the handle all togeather.D'ont need it after all. Am currently painting the sub corner braces.
Will post a picture a little later today. Hopefully it will look a little "cleaner", when i am done.

nice. but i would of used an L braket to hold the box. 2 3 or 4 of them and use it behind the box since you can bring down the rear seat

i kinda like the look of the supports now that they are painted, I would do the same to the edge of the floor board that you see at it would be very polished looking.
One thing I am wondering is how much power are you feeding that sub, I know for a fact that it cant take <500rms that I am feeding it in a to spec sealed.

D'ont plan on dropping rear seats. The back seats are acting as a brace. Togeather with the braces i made in the front, this subs not going anywhere.

Actually, no disrespect intended, But i know for a fact it can take 500 watts rms. No problem. As stated earlier i ran this sub, in this ported box in the house, hooked up to a crown power amp at 4 ohms mono and drove the hell out of it for hours. With the amp close to clipping it was pushing 600 rms.All i played was dance and rap. I had to put weights on the top of the box because it was on a wooden floor, and the sub box was actually vibrating across the floor. I had it crossed over at 100 hz, Bass was set "flat", with no bass boost, no clipping, running through a "nad" pre-amp ,10 gauge power cable going to the sub,and a monster cable power bar. Everytime the bass hit the living room lights would dim a little. I had the sub in the corner of the room. In the opposite side 25 feet away there is a wood stove. You should have heard that vibrating. Have done this several times with no problem. Have inspected the inside of the sub for burn marks from over powering. Nothing. The infiity "reference 12"(now discontinued), was rated for 350rms, but has been tested to handle 650 with out problems. Actually if you look up the "infinity 1250-1252 pre loaded enclosure with the slipstream port"( forget the model #),it was tested in a car mag to handle close to 600 rms before it was reaching its limit. I ran mine at or near its limit. If the amp would have clipped, the sub would have been toast! I now have it hooked up to a "infinity reference 611a"-450 watts rms mono 4ohms, 650 into 2 ohms mono. I believe that infinity subs are under rated. But this is only my opinion.

Alright, mine must have not been broken in properly then, or my sealed is too large (too infinity's specs) because mine overexerts.

What are you running your "bass boost" at? My ported box it to infinity's spec. What are you using for a sub amp? Is it clipping at all? Remember that too much boost can send an amp into clipping. Is your sealed box solid and air tight?
