I've looked into the Morel Ultima a bit more, and when you said it was not for the price conscious, my thought was that it would be in somewhere around the $1200 - $1500 range. From what I could find, it seems like it would be at or below the bottom of that range, which in my mind is not insanely expensive to get great quality. Im thinking that when the time comes, the Morel Ultima will be part of the plan for my system.

 

It is indeed below that kind of pricing.

 

Get these while you're at it Morel Loudspeakers - Mobile Audio - 2 Way Component Systems - Elate I have the hybrid ovation series and they're amazing.

 

i may have to head out to my (somewhat) local morel dealer and listen to some of their products. i was going to go with focal 165krc speakers (165kr's sound like the treble is too sharp and almost distorted whenever i hear them , krc's sound great to me.), but morel seems to make a good product that i might be able to get locally for a reasonable price. the focal equipment i would probably have to either buy at a sale like i did with my fp 1.800, or in the states, since certified radio is way overpriced on them.

 

IMHO the morel was transparent and very musical but lack ***** and SPL.
If you want the best of the those characteristics the JBL GTi MK II is the best suit.
