Best way to ship from US to Canada?

'gifts' are good for up to $80 Canadian... if the insured value is more then that, you pay the difference.
One way to get around the brokerage is to get the package sent to a buddies apartment ... or any temporary address... then don't pay it....
Of course, UPS makes you pay brokerage COD, probably because too many people screwed them in the past... and because the shipping companies can go after whoever sent the package for unpaid brokerage, alot of buisnesses will only ship UPS now...

Gifts max value is $60
I don't suggest fedex, unless you are really desperate to get your package quickly
I don't suggest USPS either, they will hold your package untill you pay the duty/customs/tax and it takes awhile to arrive
I just got an ohio generator sent AS A GIFT from pheonix via USPS 2 weeks later, and I STILL had to pay $137 to get my hands on it!
I would suggest GRAYHOUND busses, if that is availble. I bought 4 wheels and tires from someone in kelowna and it took 2 days and cost $16!!! Amazing
