Rob,

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but do you have a part number for the transistor that s&s replaced in your DC DC converter? The transistor in mine was so badly burned that I couldn't read the numbers off of it, and the converter PC board does not have a scematic in the 7909 service manual.

interesting ,i just bought a 7909 it has 3 rca ,s front rear and the 3rd to the changer \??
