Speaking as a consumer....if I were the general moronic public, I would want something I could hear in a real world enviroment. I'd want to be able to hear whatever speakers in a car or simulated car enviroment So whatever company you pick...well you catch my drift.

As for the 4 companies.

MBQuart: Pthttttttttt Thanks but no thanks. I shouldn't require sunglasses to listen to my comp set.

Macrom: I haven't had the pleasure of listening to them, I know they were big years ago, but sorta dissapeard...gives me an uneasy feeling but, everyone deserves a second chance. I've heard nothing but good things.

AVI: Nice subs. That's all I can say...I've only heard the SLS130 or whatever that thing is called.

Boston: Wonderfull home audio and Studio equipment....would be interesting to hear them in a car....unfortunatly I haven't.

For me to suggest an alternate company would be useless....because your area Tim, the land of the great and all that is good, is already jam packed with Focal

I wouldn't touch quart. Seams like the reputation they had wasn't backed up by too much. AVI may not be a big name, but Macrom isn't either, unless your an old guy.
Macrom is made in switzerland, I think. How many companies manufacter anywhere but asia anymore.
I think Macrom and AVI both have excellent component sets as well. I haven't really liked quart tweets ever myself.

Have someone tune them right </font>
I'm running passive on my Resolutions and they don't need to be tuned ROTFLMAO.....that's a filthy lie, there smokin hot....but seriously, I'm not a huge fan of the Quart tweets....I'm VERY picky when it comes to tweets....there's very few I actually like, but thier midrange's are pretty ok in my books....Quart midrange with TN52's would be a SICK combo.
