A distro block is much cheaper than a new capacitor. In my opinion, stiffening caps are of negligible value.

I'm a total newbie when it comes to this kind of thing. So what do I look for when buying a distro block? I see one on best buys website but that's just for the ground. I'd rather buy something local to me (mississauga area) if possible. I can't survive much longer without music in my car.

You'll want a fused distro block for your power block, and unfused for your grounds. Princess Auto has good deals on them, if you can find em in stock

So that's 3 in total I'll be buying and that's all I'll need?

thats two you'll need. look for ones with single input and dual output.

for two amps, something like this for your positive run to split to your two amps:

and something like this to merge your grounds from your amps to your main ground:

Ive used ring terminal bolted together and well insulated with tape, in a pinch

Thanks for the help, I'll take a look in the next few days and give it a shot.

No luck at Princess Auto or even Best Buy. I guess I'll just keep looking around until I find something.
