In light of recent postings of SQ/SPL events that are going to happen and car audio buzzing in the air, I thought I would see who in the general Calgary area is interested in a get together night to hang out, talk about what we're doing with our projects, and maybe listen to a few who want to bring out their cars. It's great to be able to share our car audio energy and perhaps make new friends. I came from the era where guys would drive in packs to go to a car audio event, hang out a few times a month, and just be a part of a team who help make car audio exciting. It seems that there are people in the area, but they are lone wolfs. Well, I thought a night to get together at a place like Peters Drive In to meet might be a good idea to bring everyone together and make new friends, travel buddies, fellow installers, tuners....etc. It doesn't matter what shop you buy from or if you have a $1500 system or $40000 system. Its about the fun of car audio!

Give me some feedback as to what you guys think. It would be great to see a group of people form around car audio as the thing they have in common.

i'm in, let me know when. weather should be good this weekend. i'll be repin PG lol.... on second thought i have kids and they will need a sitter give me a weeks notice. sometimes i wonder what happened to car audio in Calgary. rarely ever meet folk who are "IN TO IT" week nights are better for me. how about the home depot across from chinook center on weds. it's a general show and shine. lotta cool cars maybe get their early to grab a few spots.

Why not? I think most people would rather hang with friends they know from car audio shows instead of a bunch of weirdo's they met on an internet forum

i'm not exactly sure why" you and your friends" would be so against hooking up with people you have never met and seeing someone's system that you have never heard or seen. i guess thats fine with me if you don't want to. it's called networking in the adult world but thats kool if you have your clique and want to stay in it. last i looked there was literally nothing by the way of contests in this city anyway. if there is please let me know. my trophy's are from long ago. ahh who am i kidding it's only for people who are in the group. is this why car audio is dying a slow death everywhere. i guess i wouldn't be accepted cause i run old skool Phoenix Gold, from when real amps were made. no worrie's tho. i'm still up to hang if the original poster puts something together. maybe an informal soundoff with no mic's, just the ears of the people.
