another thing... ok the Kinetik 800 is pretty much just another battery but better. i'd still have to replace my alt in order to put in a secondary battery. and to put in a new alt it's in an assinine spot and is difficult to do. but i'd be able to do something. is it possible to just replace the original battery with the Kinetik? or is it made to be positioned in the back with the rest of the stereo equipment?

Yes you could replace the original battery with the kinetik. Usually you just buy the biggest one you could put under your hood. But if it's to pricey get a smaller one.

They are agm sealed batteries. Could mount them in any position. It's usually good to have just all the same agm style batteries and no regular car battery. But it works with one though. The battery adds AH (Amp Hours) to your electrical system. Which is way better then a cap that doesn't. The more batts the more AH your gonna get. You just look at how much current draw your current stereo system has.

It's a 1.6L is 80 amps decent? or should it be better?
I'm still hoping that doing the big 3 and properly grounding will help my noise problems. then up grading batter/alternator will be thought about.

Now you have the right idea on how to deal with this in the right order....

well, i'm running 2000 watts with 2 batteries and a 105amp alt, though my lights dim like crazy and my electrical is not fully done just yet.

i ran 800 without any issues, bit of light dimming but i didn't have the wiring i have currently.

ok. lol BigRed that was my plan in the first place... i've only been asking questions trying to figure out what's better and how i could upgrade. But now the big question... if i do the big 3... and it doesn't solve the "alternator wine" what then? what the hell could be the problem then. I truly believe it's just a bad ground and by fixing that i'll fix the sound.

now here's the funny *** part. none of that fixes the sound comming from the clutch... i think my throw out bearing needs to be replaced... AKA the whole clutch! and I've been told the Slave cylender needs to be replaced too... but that's something totally different lol... and gunna cost a hell of a lot more then an audio fix...
