I saw a hifi system that had 4 6" or 8" inch woofers (I cant remember) anyway they rated it as 7800watts lol man thats so sad
7800watts for a hifi unit thats not even heavy I don't think so
Remember you need to find the true specifications not just a number they pulled out of their but and pasted on the front of the unit in pretty writing

I see this thread went downhill fast, started off trying to dispell myths and then added new ones we never heard of.
If you want your subs to give you midbass, (which is what you mean by quicker or punchier), then use 8 or 10".
Personally, i like my subs 15" to give me the low frequencies and my 6.5 midbass to give the midbass.
