Powerful amps kill woofers! In actuality distortion kills them for the most part. And yes a certain distance is required for a wavelength depending on the frequency, the lower the longer!

That you should not run power wire and RCA's together or power wire and speaker wire together. [img]graemlins/bs.gif[/img]

that may not have happened to you but its happened to me before....

that if you get a cap, you dont need to upgrade battery or alternator
