just like to say i really like this forum, it has a lot of useful info.
anyways, i VERY VERY new to the audio scene, i have a little backround with cars, its just ive never tackled anything with audio wire haha.
anywho,

im looking for something to replace the speakers and/or deck in my 1995 corolla (7th gen)
theres only two (4") speakers that whimper, now i know that with 4 inches its not going to all that powerful at all, im just looking for something better than the stock ones in my front door panels.

or is there any setup you can recommenced under say.... 300? thats not powerful as 300 wouldnt cut it, but just some nice loudness?
it would be ever so appreciated.

I am a noob as well so i cant give you too much info. All i can say is that years ago i used to drive a 1998 Intrepid. the front soundstage was awefull. i simply replaced the dash speakers with 4" Alpine Type S and it made a world of difference.
It all depends on what you want. Audiophile SQ with mega bass or a simple good sounding radio.
