car swapping

HUH?
Do you mean when you drop your car off to get some work done - the company allows their employees to take your car out for a "test drive"?
then yeah - beware.
That's why I take my faceplate off, and take all my registration/insurance papers with me.
It doesnt stop them from taking it out for a spin - but at least they won't **** up my stereo or take my VIN number down.

i have a feeling he means like trading cars with your friend as in maybe u need a truck for a day so u give him ur car n take his truck, which i think shouldnt be done unless you totally know and trust them in which case its your fault for all that and u shouldnt complain........BUT!! thats just what i am getting out of your post, so i could be thinking of this wrong and default user is thinking of it correctly and then yea maybe people should be warning others of the company's that do that instead of just complaining
