CD Changer question...
I recently picked-up a 10-disc Sony Changer(mostly because of the Advanced 12 second ESP, I hate skips!)...
But anyways, I don't want to just do the usual mounting in the trunk etc. I want to do something more custom. Primarily I want to maybe use plexiglass on a side or two so that you can see the components working. I was wondering whether the metal casing that the changer components are in, are actually necessary? In other words, I believe that the casing itself is more or less just to protect the internals from dust etc., but don't actually serve any functional purpose, correct?
Anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do with my changer besides the same old?
THANKS!
