x2. well said. these people are labelling us all.. since when does having a system in your car automatically make you a drug dealer? or mean that you are carrying a gun? or involved in any illegal activity whatsoever for that matter? the stereotypes are @#$! unbelievable.
I am personally disgraced at 20/20 and John Stossel for airing the likes of that with the kind of meaningless crap (IMO) that they got from god knows where. isn't the world all about trying to stop pre-judging people because of what their hobbies are, etc? I would expect something like this maybe 10 years ago but not this day in age. anyway this kind of stuff strikes a nerve with me as I am sure it does with all of you who have posted. but i don't agree that these people should be going on national television like this without some kind of spokesperson from the car audio industry or just someone to speak on behalf of the typical responsible car audio enthusiast.

OMG, Megahurtz, I couldn't help myself. I had to go on that site and post a few messages. I just had to............
At first I didn't even want to get involved and participate, but man, when I read some of the stupid stuff that was on there, my IQ dropped by 90 percent.
It's just hilarious as all h_ll.

Guys, I just read the links on the site and there's some pretty good stuff on it. It's too bad some of the people who post on his site are a little nuts (me included).
I think he might actually be some university student doing a masters on social behaviour -- the effects of mass media and the Internet.
Anyway, he goes on about the Peter Pan syndrome and has a thing about being a man and growing up. I think he is more like a she in disguise - not getting it. hahaha....... I had to put that one in there.
I must have too much time on my hands because I find this person to be very intriguing. Most of my silly posts on that site will be deleted by noon tomorrow and I wouldn't blame them. I had lots of fun, though.

Who can come up with the most believeable line??
Like:
"It feels like I haven't slept for weeks now, everytime a boom car goes by my china cabinet buzzes and pictures vibrate on the wall. I'm sure my reumatism is getting worse by the day and I get the shakes & uncontrollable muscle spasms at work and I can't get anything done. Is this a known side effect?...My attention span is so short I feel like my head is spinning...I think my boss has had enough, I really need this job and I think he's going to fire me. Do boom cars make you paranoid? Is that a side effect? I might have to move so I can get some sleep. I'm at my wits end here, anyway you can help me....I'm desparate!!?"
