Yes they all have their issues. But Alpine is supposed to be the best! Their sound quality has come down to the Sony ranking. JVC, recently bought out by Kenwood has Bluetooth dongle breakdown issue. But at least you can pull it out and replace it without having to remove half the dash. Even my beloved Pioneer has a breakdown rate that gives me lost sleep, but for the trade-off, it's worth it.
Sound quality from the Chinese decks kinda suck. I was in a car owned by a Sansui rep (which will be promoting their car audio line-up in North America next year). He had one of their double din decks in his dash and a Pioneer in his glove box. I had to ask him why. He said that for SQ, he had no choice.
