OK, so as of the other day, my 2way fm alarm/starter combo is doing weird .

Locks and unlocks fine, but no matter what the remote says the vehicle is running, when i try to start it by holding button two, it beeps three times at me. I have no idea what the deal is or how to even troubleshoot it.

Tried to go back to the shop...but they were gone to pick up a ride DOH!

I don't know what kinda things to give you guys for help with it all, but hopefully you can just ask me and i'll tell, until friday when i'm gonna try and go back to the shop and get them to check it out if i haven't solved it.

Took it to the shop, buddy played with the remote, couldn't figure it out, so i was gonna bring my vehicle in on friday. Took it in, picked it up at 5 and talked to the owner guy and he's like i dunno what was wrong, but i've been playing with it intermittently thru out the day and it works absolutely fine. Sure enough, i press the button to turn it on and it starts up like nothing.


So in the end....no one knows what happened, it just stopped working. And then it fixed itself as mysteriously as it stopped.

 

Are you sure it wasn't in 'Valet Mode'?

 

not according to the remote. But thats why i took it to the guys at the shop and had them look at the remote, they've fixed me up in the past when i've done something that i couldn't figure out.


Just overall weird. They didn't do anything to fix it they said so....it may have partially been in valet mode, but the alarm still set and everything so....i udnno
