BACK ONTO THE TOPIC AT HAND.......
Concept Subs, I owned a pair of the old Concept PT's. They were bar none the greatest subs I have ever owned and still to this day wish I never sold them, Ive owned numberious Rockford subs, Shockers, Inhumans, Alpines, and every cheap sub you can imagine and the Concepts were the loudest and tightest sounding subs I had.
as for the Concept 2400D's, I owned one of those amps from the first run, a 24000D thank god I knew the shop owner persinally because in the 6 month I owned one 4 of them blew up, it was to the point I just sold it for about 25% of what I paid for it just to get it the hell out of my hair.

spl is pretty much the best way to test's product's realibility. even the car example applies in a way that all cars have the same crash test standards they have to pass. this doesnt mean that u would have to smash every car that is sold - everyone drives differently. same with the amp, it should be put to the extreme test to test the reliability, which does not mean that every amp sold will be ran in the extreme conditions - everyone uses it differently, just like the car example.
and on the product - their 2400D amp only produced 1600 watts, i saw this with my own eyes and a clamp meter.

well.....
thanks for all the info....i'll let you know how the new concept z something something (model #) works out....just trying to be gentle with it....
(do you need to break subs in?)
the sub itself looks krazy...SOLID !
but i think i might need something more powerful.
Respect.
