no difference between house and car wires, try using a different signal source like an mp3 player and your link doesn't work

oh sorry, it was a link to a 60 amp power source in the for sale section. The problem I've discovered is that I havn't hooked up the remote wire and the amp won't get anypower without it. I didn't think of this since I don't know what would double as the remote wire from the computer...

it will work if you hook the constant to the remote turn on as well. Just disconnect it or put a switch in between when you are done listening to turn off the amp.

the wire going from the power source to the 12v constant on the amp.

Save your self trouble just play your music through the CD ROM of your computer and plug in your computer speakers.

yeah that would be easier, but i'm putting it in a vinatage radio and just straight putting a computer wouldn't fit as nicely and i already have the speakers lol.

Thanks for the tip drew, everything works great now. Haha it took a while, but it'll be worth it

oh but after actually hooking speakers to it, by works great i mean sounds like crap, i can barely hear the treble, its all bass. I think i might give up and use a deck or a decent mp3 jukebox...
