IMO the W7 is a better sounding driver than the DD 95's. I also prefer the W6v2 to the W7 in terms of pure SQ.

Yup ... w6 by far over the w7 ... but if u want to go that route, then look at the Image Dynamics IDMAX or ARC Audio Flatline. Even the higher end subwoofers from DLS.

Don't leave out the OZ Matrix Elite also. IMO it's right in there with the Max.

I've heard nothing but great things regarding the new Arc Flatline series drivers but haven't had a chance to audition them. Hopefully someday soon.

Its like the IDMAX with larger VC and cooler looking basket. The 2-piece ABS, flat-piston cone is definately cool. Problem is the IDMAX are on backorder for many months while I have ARC Audio flatlines in stock.
