Can anyone recommend a decent 6.5 coaxial speaker that can put out some bass? I'm not looking to replace a quality sub, just a good filler for now. I have about $100 budget. Any suggestions?

I do intended to add a sub down the road.

 

Most of the MTX Thunder Series throws out decent bass. Look for a used set on eBay or something...

 

I picked up a set of MB Quart 6.5
's at future ship friday for $122 taxes in and they have great bass response

Does replacing the compontents actually make it that much better withpout running them off an amp? I really can't complain about my stock 6.5 they have decent sound and some thump, but never really thought of just buying components and running them off stock power
