^ Tyler - such rage in a young man... tsk tsk.. Yell at people in a PM ok?
Also - it is the manufacturer's discretion on what gets fixed and what does not. The dealer has no say in it - frankly they should not care either way and should just process the repair.
Alternately - contact Clarion Canada directly, find your most local repair depot and send it to them yourself with a copy of the receipt.

what they will cover
i have seen stuff well past the warranty period cover
i sent in a kenwood cd player that had a one year warranty covered when it was 5 years old
i have seen speakers fully disected covered
most manufactures prefer a happy customer
if they won't take care of it or arn't interested
contact clarion itself
package it properly send a photocopy of your receipt
shipping will cost you 10-20 dollars
there on the west side of toronto
concord or something like that

ok well i bought my clarion deck back in jauary of this year. i have recently gotten problems where it does not keep a good connection...
today i was listening to a song with bass. and it just shut off? now in the summer i could do this and would have no problem. it is scareing me casue this is my comp deck and cash flow does not allow me to purchase a new one or even a used one... now would i still be able to get warrenty work done on it? if so how do i go about this? should i can the retail store that sold it to me and ask them? i bought it from sound obbsesions in lloyd. i have all the bills of sale and the bill for the install. if i did not have it installed by a pro my warrenty would be void. so should i just give them a ring and get the inside scoop. or am i hooped?
