Denonford History?
#1
Does anybody have some literature on the history of the Rockford Platinum series?
I would really like to read up, more on this deck other than what's in my manual and I know it's made by Denon.

Go to carsound.com forums, there is a pretty good FAQ there (that I compiled). Lots of info on this one.

Here is a post from a guy who took his 8250 apart.

"In a stupor of Boredom I took my RFX 8250(J) apart
the DACS is a Burr Brown PCM1702--20Bit DAC
http://audiochips.net/?action=pcm1702
OPamps used are BBOPA 2134uA
Not sure what the Filter is, I think its an analog filter chip but Part Number is Denon SM5845AF (cant find much info on it)
I was looking for an actual board label out of the actual Denon head unit it is used in, but couldnt find it. SO considering the parts used and that its 20bit--closest thing is a Denon A100
8240 is a dual 1bit, closest to an A1000"
