yup. made in japan.
the warranty is the only reason i didn't purchase the p-01. ....and this is why. you have had yours for a while longer than me though. if something were to go wrong like mine, im sure it would have happened by now. i don't know what would have gone wrong though. listening to it lunchtime. nothing changed on either, ceased working later in the afternoon. who knows:P i think it was #50 or something made. i geuss i'll be up to a couple hundred now:P |
does anyone know if it is possible to view the EQ settings when using the automated tuning?
i would like to use this as a baseline and fine tune from there. hoping to get mine re-installed tomorrow and do some actual fine tuning. |

Wow! Is the P99 made in Japan like the P01? I'm scared now...

I see this thread ended some time ago. I guess everybody who wanted this unit got one. Any feedback so far?
If I wanted to buy one - where can I find it in Canada? |
I have one and love it! If you want to buy one in your area, check the Pioneer website to see who's authorized to sell it.

Love mine too (P01 Japanese version).

I only sold mine cause it was too much HU for what my new plans are. By far the best sounding HU I've encountered with the features avail.
Tuning with a laptop is so old - Iphone or Blackberry apps??? |
amazing headunit, no regrets for purchasing one here.
best new unit money can buy imo. not sure about newmarket, but custom auto radio in whitby can get them. |
Same with Central Station Customs in Montreal. They actually have one in stock $1349 plus shipping.

I see "DARUMA HI FI SERVICE" in Aurora is an authorized dealer closest to me.
Anybody heard of them? I can't find even their phone#. Is there any recommended place that I can order on-line? |
