I was wondering what is the difference in the placement of ports, whether you mount them perpendicular with the sub in the box or parelell, many of my buddys have just stuck them on perpendicular and this guy said that would sound like crap?

 

what car /what sub /what amp /
i would do the side with the sub is on /unles i was trying for high spl

 

for your purpose it wont matter

 

All vehicles like a little bit of a different way of running the port/sub. Some cars like everything facing backwards or forwards sealed off, some suv's and hatchs like subs up, ports backwards or sideways.
