What is Exile? I tried to Google it and couldn't find anything in my first few pages of search. Speakers? Amps? Subs? Decks? Starter / Alarm? iPod accys?

Some of the guys that left Phoenix Gold started up Exile. So it sounds like it could be fairly decent gear. Hopefully it will be marketed and merchandised as such.

Ryan - remember about 2 years ago there was that small time shop in Langley that did up a dealer demo car. Shop went down within a year.

The gear looks a little too 'offshore' for me but that's just my opinion

He closed down a long time ago.........Aug or Sept 2004......stiffed a bunch of suppliers for $$$$.

As for the product.........it's solid !!

Justin from Georges in Kamloops used the amps in his car last year and did really well on the SPL circuit with them too. I belive he won at the finals last year.

All cast aluminum end caps and badges that can be removed and painted.....anodized aluminum heatsinks for excessive thermal mass.........no plastic. These things are heavy......and when you put that in a customers hand they feel their getting what their paying for too.

Yeah its made off shore, but what isn't these days except Audison. And thats the only way you can get the watts per dollar that they offer.

Dont tell me that MTX and Rockford amps dont look off-shoreish !!

Amplifiers........Lots of watts per dollar..........bullet proof construction, triple darlington bi-polar outputs on the Class A/B Amps. Huge robust un-regulated power supplies....Class D models are over 85% efficient so they wont sack the guys electrical system.....until he starts "strapping" the mono blocks together.

Over the counter 2-year warranty.........speakers are in-field destruct (never replaced one yet)....so no shipping back and forth and wasting shipping costs, etc.

It's just a well built product, with good engineering and reliability.

The guys at "the shop" are going to have a lot of fun with this product....and give them something exciting and new to talk about.

Kind of neat how this post started as how often do independants prefer to see reps and now it has been hijacked into a post about a brand that no independant wants and is now in FS -- whose staff does not seem to want it either -- does that mean that it has been EXILED? [pun intended]

... I do not know of ANY brand of car amplifier that does not get their BOARDS from the far east...
