Does this mean I need an Optima?

I was just in costco and they have red tops for $150 and Yellow Tops for $200. They also have Kirkland Deep Cycles for like $70. Don't know if they are any good or not.

Do you have different amp alts available? How much do you charge for one that would be for my car?

Well I went to my car last night to go to work, press the unarm button on my alarm, and the LED wouldn't stop flashing, and my headlights + tailights didnt flash. So the alarm won't disengage, I open my door, the alarm starts to go off very faintly and then dies after about 2 seconds. I put the key in the ignition tried turning it, nothing happening, no noise at all, so I guess my battery is totally dead now, gonna pick up an Optima from Costco this afternoon and see what happens.

So... red top or yellow top?

red top is a starting battery, yellow is deep cycle. if you bump with the car off, go yellow

I second that, if you want to stop this from happening while your parked disconnect the negative battery terminal. This is only a quick way to keep you going until you fix the problem properly

Now #1 is the MOST IMPORTANT one.. So I would do that up first. Good luck with your new buy.

thanks for the input...but at least he has a system and isn't Soon to compete SPL!
people don't make fun of your ride, so leave theirs out of it. Tell me what it was...I was told my stock alt for my 91 was strong enough...still holding up strong
