Eclipse is only a 3 year warranty when installed by a authorized dealer, not 5 years. As FS is a authorized dealer and if it is installed by them, it carries a 3 year manufacturer warranty that can be increased to whatever number of years the FS extended warranty is.

Eclipse warranty is 1 year if installed by a non authorized business or employee.

A note here is that the 3 year warranty is only on head units, not speakers, subs, amps or accessories.
